A Little Bit About Me
Hi and welcome to my Income Initiative digital marketing course! My name is Steph and I am so happy you are here. First and foremost, I am a believer, a wife to my high school sweetheart, and mother to two strong-willed barefoot daughters. We live on a small farm in Kentucky where the sunsets and crickets are LIFE! I was raised in poverty, sometimes not having electricity or plumbing, and we ate canned food over a kerosine heater. This upbringing is the root of my dreamer's heart; always hoping, wishing, praying for a better life for myself and family. I like to think that this early love of nature and wild spirit carried me to my passion in photography, getting to capture my clients in some of the most stunning landscapes on the planet.
As an adult, my wanderlust took me to many differeny places, companies, and after years chasing the corporate dream, I left a Fortune 500 company (rhymes with Shmamazon) to start my own photography business. I’ve found motherhood and family to be the most precious gifts this life has given me and I strive to find and create beauty in those relationships daily. It’s that inspiration and gratitude that enabled me to seek and capture authentic moments for the families, couples, and little babies that I get to meet...
...but still, something continued to eat at me when leaving the house for a photoshoot or wedding. I wanted to take a step back from the hustle and really focus on this special season as a mother. I have been praying for a way out, a way to quite literally somehow have "work" be on autopilot and still have a source of income without ever leaving the house!
